Sanur Life Tour with Sudamala Suites & Villas
Sanur Life Tour
Sudamala’s ‘Sanur Life Tour’ will take you to the hidden, cultural corners of Sanur that many visitors never see or even know about. After a delicious ala carte breakfast at ARES restaurant, you will visit the nearby Sindhu morning market. Experience the sights, sounds, colours and smells of the bustling market where locals come for all their daily needs.
From Sindhu market, continue on to Segara Temple, a unique and ancient temple by the sea constructed almost wholly from corals. While there, you will also see, and taste if you wish, some local favourites.
Your next stop is the Le Mayeur Museum. Once the residence of Belgian impressionist painter Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres, the museum preserves a number of priceless works by the artist who was fascinated by Balinese culture. Continue on to Sindhu beach where you visit the Patal Temple and a Turtle Conservation Hatchery.
It would be easy to overlook Blanjong Temple, but this isn’t just any temple: on a timeworn stone column at the bottom of a pit is an inscription in Sanskrit and Old Balinese dated 913AD, signed by King Sri Kesari, the first known written record of a Balinese king.
Next, visit the local fishermen and witness the colourful and unique jukung fishing boats, before a fresh seafood lunch at a beachside restaurant and a short trip back to the haven of your Sudamala suite or villa.
The Sanur Life Tour is approximately 6.5 hours (07.30 – 14.00) and includes Private Tour Guide and Vehicle, Lunch, all Donations & Entrance Fees.
