Sudamala Resorts is pleased to announce its recognition as the Best ASEAN Sustainability Programme recipient at the 35th ASEANTA Excellence Awards, held on 27 January 2026 in Cebu, Philippines.
Organised by the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA), the ASEANTA Excellence Awards are among the region’s most respected tourism accolades, recognising organisations that demonstrate leadership in sustainability, cultural preservation, innovation, and responsible tourism. The awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the ASEAN Tourism Forum, a flagship regional event attended by government representatives, international buyers, airlines, tour operators, and industry leaders.
Sudamala Resorts’ recognition reflects its long-standing and integrated approach to sustainability. Rather than treating sustainability as a standalone initiative, the brand has embedded responsible practices across its operations, including architectural design, environmental stewardship, community engagement, and cultural respect.
