installation of a Solar Power Plant as the main energy source for its operations. This project is
the result of a collaboration between two pioneering renewable energy companies, Xurya and
Suryagen, aimed at reducing carbon footprints and enhancing the guest experience by providing
ecofriendly environmentally energy.
As the first resort in Labuan Bajo to integrate Solar Power Plants into its operations, Sudamala
Resort, Seraya is committed to supporting Labuan Bajo as a world-class Sustainable Super
Priority Destination. The installation of the Solar Power Plant is not only an investment in
efficient energy infrastructure but also a crucial step towards realizing a greener and more
sustainable future for Indonesian tourism.
With the installation of an off-grid hybrid Solar Power Plant system, nearly 90-95% of
Sudamala Resort, Seraya’s operational energy needs will be met by solar energy. This system
is equipped with batteries and a generator set to ensure operational resilience, even in
emergency situations. The presence of this Solar Power Plant will help significantly reduce
electricity costs compared to the use of conventional diesel generators, while also providing
greater comfort for resort guests who will not be disturbed by noise pollution.
