Sudamala Resort is delighted to announce the appointment of Made Sukadana as the General Manager of Sudamala Resort, Sanur, and Sudamala Resort, Senggigi, alongside Stephan Winkler as the General Manager of Sudamala Resort, Komodo, and Sudamala Resort, Seraya, effective May 10, 2024.

Having recently relocated from Labuan Bajo to Bali, Made Sukadana brings a wealth of international experience to his new role as Cluster General Manager, overseeing the Lombok – Bali Cluster for Sudamala Resort, Sanur, and Sudamala Resort, Senggigi.

With over 30 years in the hospitality industry, Sukadana’s career includes 15+ years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts across various global locations, including the USA, Singapore, and Indonesia. His journey began as a Bartender at a five-star Hilton International Bali resort in Nusa Dua, followed by roles at The Apurva Kempinski and L Hotel, Seminyak. Sukadana’s leadership ethos is encapsulated by his belief in sincerity and integrity, which he considers essential for delivering genuine service.

Expressing his excitement about his new assignment, Made Sukadana remarked, “I’m honored to lead Sudamala Resort, Sanur, and Sudamala Resort, Senggigi, and I am thrilled to return to Bali, my hometown. Bali and Lombok are renowned for their hospitality, and our properties boast a dedicated team committed to authentic guest care. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with them.”

Simultaneously, Stephan Winkler assumes the role of General Manager for the Flores Cluster, overseeing Sudamala Resort, Komodo, and Sudamala Resort, Seraya. With 40 years of international hotel experience, including tenure with luxury brands such as Bristol Hotel Kempinski and Marriott International across diverse locations, Winkler brings extensive expertise to his new position.

Stephan Winkler is poised to infuse fresh perspectives into the resorts’ offerings, emphasizing culinary concepts and memorable experiences while preserving traditions and promoting Flores’ unique allure. Commenting on his appointment, Stephan Winkler shared, “I look forward to enhancing our guests’ experiences through gracious and intuitive service. Luxury is an evolving experience that must resonate with individual preferences, necessitating continuous rejuvenation.”

In their respective roles, both Cluster General Managers will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operations and driving strategic initiatives for the resorts. Ricky Putra, COO of Sudamala Resort, expressed confidence in the appointments, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Stephan as General Manager of Sudamala Resort, Komodo, and Sudamala Resort, Seraya and Sukadana as General Manager of our beautiful resorts in Bali and Lombok.
